ICICI Bank launches instant credit cards

India’s largest private sector lender, ICICI Bank launched virtual cards to saving’s account customers who are not credit cardholders but need one immediately, in a completely digital and paperless manner.

The new offering enables a few lakh of pre-qualified customers who can apply for the card online and generate card details and start shopping instantly.
Presently, this facility is available through the Bank’s internet banking platform. It will be available shortly on iMobile, the Bank’s mobile banking application.

Heavy Monsoon Rains In Kota, Bundi, Ajmer, Udaipur, Barmer..Light In Jaipur

Heavy Monsoon showers lashed Kota, Bundi, Ajmer, Udaipur and Barmer rains during the span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday. This has been the second highest rainfall noted during 24 hours in the month of August since 2005. Monsoon continues to remain vigorous over the southern parts of Rajasthan.
In fact, for the last many days, the region has been witnessing heavy to very heavy rains, leading to flood like situation. As per the weather forecast, light to good showers are expected to continue over the city for next 24 to 48 hours as well.

After making a sensational Test debut at the iconic Lord’s Stadium in 1996, where he scored a century, Ganguly went on to lead Team India in 49 Tests and 147 ODIs till retirements.
Most important role of Dada as captain was making best indian cricket team when country need it most. He supported a lot of world class players to make their careers some of are as – Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan and many more.

New pink-green one rupee notes to be in circulation soon


The Reserve Bank of India will soon put New one rupee notes with pink-green combination or with other colors into circulation.
The notes bearing the rupee symbol have been printed by the Government of India.
The note will bear signature of Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, Shaktikanta Das . Rest of the other currency notes bear the signature of the RBI Governor.
The numbering will be in black at right hand bottom portion of the note. On the reverse side, the year  2017  is mentioned.

CBSE launches ‘eSanad’ for online document verification


The Human Resource Development Ministry, Prakash Javedkar and the External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj launched an online verification portal e-sanad to make the document verification process easier for students who planning to study abroad.
e-Sanad is an inception of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in association with two other ministries with the help of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).CBSE becomes the first Board to partner with Ministry of External Affairs for e-Sanad.
According to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, this will diminish that “touts” and “rackets” involved in the verification of documents.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda resigned as Nepal Prime Minister


Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda ,the 39th prime minister of Nepal has resigned as Nepal Prime Minister. Sher Bahadur Deuba to become the next Prime Minister.
The resignation is to honor an accordance signed in August 2016 when Prachanda was elected the prime minister with Deuba’s support.
According to the agreement, Prachanda was to remain in office until the local elections were held while polls at the provincial and central levels were to be conducted under Deuba as the Prime Minister.

India becomes second largest steel producer in the world


India has become second largest stainless steel producer in the world after China. According to data released by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) at their annual conference held ,India overtook Japan as the second-biggest producer in 2016.

India’s stainless steel production rose to 3.32 million tonne in 2016 showing an impressive growth of about 9% over 3 million tonne it produced in 2015
